Rapper T.I. has been added to the cast lineup for Great Fete Weekend. The Sandbox team made the announcement on social media late last week.
The annual beach party, at Pigeon Point Beach Resort (as well as other locations across Tobago) will be held from July 25 – 29 and has been dubbed as THE umissable weekend of the year.
Top DJs as well as Soca, Hip Hop and Dancehall stars from Trinidad and Tobago, Jamaica, the U.S., and the wider Caribbean usually come out to perform with artists such as Ashanti, Rick Ross, Future, Young Thug, Jamaican breakout star Shenseea, Konshens, Shabba Ranks, and Vybz Kartel hitting the stage.
The party was born out of the celebrations surrounding the annual powerboat racing event, Great Race, where patrons come out in their numbers to see the race which kicks off in Port of Spain and ends in Store Bay, Tobago.
