The heat has just been taken up a notch as designer Keisha Als launched her second swimwear collection last Friday at 212 Location, West Mall.
‘Tropix Season 2’ features five swimwear styles duplicated in various colours. The recent launch is a partnership between Als and 212 Location with the pieces exclusively available at the popular retail outlet. The collection is a follow-up on the success of her first swimwear line which was launched last year, Tropix.
“My inspiration for this year is keeping it sexy which is tropical, but also keeping it edgy by incorporating fishnets and mesh, being on trend with the sporty look that has been around for the past six months,” Als said.
The designs were named after locations in the Caribbean that represent the quintessential tropical lifestyle: Avocat (Trinidad); Galera (Trinidad); Portie (Jamaica); Bequia (The Grenadines) and Juju (Barbados).
